The Reading Chairman has said today that Reading have no money to spend after all their fans had a go at him. They have sold both Shane Long and Matt Mills and Sir John Madejski said this which made me wonder how much we actually paid for Matt Mills

We was rumoured to have paid around 5.5M for Matt Mills and with their chairman saying that maybe we got him for around 4M which was first speculated when we was first rumoured to be after him. If so cracking business by Sven

how do they not have money!? They keep selling players for big fees and not replacing them with anything but nominal fees... they have a sizeable following, where does the money go!?

If they didnt get 6.5M for Shane Long its their own fault they have no money. We offered 7M but they didnt want to sell to a championship side

Well as far as I knew it was 4.5 rising to 5.5.

It doesn't make sense that they've got no money.

Think Mills was 4.5 rising to 5/5.5. However, maybne that is what he cost us and not what Reading got - there is players signing on feees and agents to pay too.............maybe.........just speculating.

    4M???

He only has a year left on his contract but saying that so does Maynard, Long and Mills and look how much they went for. I reckon we could get him for around 2-3M

Bet he has lost more than he has gained? He built your ground? also got you into the prem, he must have spent loads on wages and transfer fees over the years?
