Well Man City have Slapped a £4m price tag on Bellamy,While Cardiff City are selling off or releasing their high earning players. Whats gonna happen next? Will Craig do as has been reported and buy out his contract and play for free? Big finacial gamble if he does............

No surprises there although £4,000,000 is pretty cheap considering what they paid and how well he played for them. Having said that, CB is plagued by injuries and won't be able to play week in week out.

The price tag won't match what's offered and accepted in my view. Two maybe. Two.5 at most.

Perhaps Chops' £1.5m might be the down payment? Assuming it didn't go to Sunderland.

I think Bellers will have a big part to play in this yet. Don’t forget that he has to agree to any move even if the 4 mil is matched. Bellers could still force Man C to off load his wages by accepting a termination or a possible loan again just by rejecting any moves for a fee to any club he dose not want to play for!!

The £4M figure was produced by the Sunderland chairman to appease those up there who questioned the £5M that Keane paid for him.

In reality, this was an overall figure including old balances, the wage payments we made during his first loan period and those they would have to pay contractually for the second half of the season if they kept him.

In other words, the "£4m" was an engineered figure to suit their purpose.

Mind you, whether we still owe them some of that is another matter. It wouldn't be any surprise if we do.
