We talk about the mangers lining up to take over from SC but what about some experienced players such as these two. When I look back at some of the talent that has gone to some of our competitors it makes me wonder how forward thinking our leaders actually are. Joey Barton is another that comes to mind and I watched him play tonight and he is just the sort of player we need to bring in to strengthen our chances of survival. Andre Gray also had another good night and when I think he slipped through our fingers, like so many others, I just question the true commitment to bringing Bristol City back in to the real world. The good players are passing us by and going elsewhere rather than Ashton Gate and I worry for our future when I see us missing the boat at most sailings. The tide will be going out in 6 days and I hope we don't get stranded on the beach thinking about what could have been, when we could have been in calmer waters.
Who is this Lindegaarrd? I know Steve Sidwell but why would you consider him as an experienced player to take over as manager but say we are taking the cheap option with Elliott and Pembleton?
I also intended to talk only about players and never considered any of them as managers. Lindegaard is ex Man Utd right?
