Couldn't they have waited half an hour for the sake of the photos? In my opinion it shows a lack of understanding if not outright contempt for fans.
The posts thing was the only disapointment of anotherwise enjoyable chance to to applaud the players for their efforts in what has been a long hard and ultimatley fine season. Seeing the goals again put a smile on may face, there may not have been many but there were some crackers. The fewere there are the sweeter they seem. And as for using the black keys...... well just class
I'm guessing you were in the west stand? In the east, we were treat to glimpses of the players backs if the line of hi-viz parted for long enough or a view on the TV with a sound system borrowed from Paragon Station.
Dutch, your right I did think at the time why arent they facing the south stand with their backs to the empty north stand? I understand this might have been a problem not knowing how many would stay but it's a shame those who stayed couldnt have stood together in one stand.
I think if they'd been organised there would have been too many to all get in one stand. As it was many left, bored of the wait, others left when they saw the way the presentation was going. Poor all round imho.
They keep the rugby posts up all the time as the are easier to put up and take down - that's what I've been told
That doesn't make sense does it? It still wouldn't account for the timing of it today. It's possible there's a logistical reason like the time for what ever the posts are bedded in with to set?
Not unless it's changed recently. A few years back we had a lunch time kick off and the rugby played the same day with a tea time kick off so they only had 3 or 4 hours to do the changeover of the posts and the pitch markings.
Aren't rugby posts narrower than football goals? I wonder how they fill the goal post holes in? The guy today had a tin bucket of something he used when putting the posts up. I thought it was to bed the posts, but I suppose it could be to fill the football hole?
Just a bit of slight of hand by me for now. From previous visits they've got a shared IP address with one of the regulars on here, so if it happens again I'll see if they know who it is because it's probably a classmate/workmate trying to be funny.
if we needed a reason to move from the kc then putting the rugby posts up is it,we stayed to the very end and i wish we had'nt bothered, seeing them posts go up made me feel sick, let hull efffffceeee have the ****ing ground the pitch is **** anyway
Also he could be in student housing or have used a computer at school or university. I know people at uni and who live in the same building as me who use this site. I'm not sure if that means we'd have the same ip address or not though.
