    1115 BBC 5 LIVE: A reminder of the sport to come on BBC Radio 5 live today. At the moment, Sports Extra has coverage of the decisive final round of matches from the County Championship. At 1900 BST on 5 live is the Monday Night Club with Mark Chapman, followed by live commentary of QPR v Newcastle with John Motson and Steve Claridge. After that is live coverage of the US Open men's final between Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic.

    Claridge is, and always has been, a plank.

    How he got a job working for the BBC is quite beyond me. Methinks he might have been brown nosing for years ... or else he has a mate who is a BBC producer.

    Maybe he had something on one of the BBC staff?
