A lady called Carol on, 57 from Sunderland. What hobbies do you have asked Bradley Walsh, I am a massive Sunderland fan replied Carol. When I got my divorce I changed my name by deed poll to Carol Quinn. Well done pet, she won £5,000 BTW
It's a new year and The Chase is back with even more tension, more laughs and more fortunes won. Hosted by Bradley Walsh, contestants must answer general knowledge questions and play their tactics right in order to get themselves into the Final Chase, where they could win a cash pot worth thousands of pounds. However, standing in the way is their common enemy, the Chaser, one of the finest quiz brains in the country. An intellectually dominating and supremely self-confident quiz genius, they will chase contestants down the board in a tense and thrilling test of knowledge to try to catch them and throw them out of the game. The Chase isn’t just a quiz; it’s a race, where the contestants must avoid being caught by the Chaser. Stay ahead of the Chaser and they share the pot; get caught and they lose the lot! please log in to view this image The Beast, The Barrister, The Sinnerman and The Governess return with the aim to chill contestants to the bone and see them leave empty handed. How will contestants fair against our famous four, can they be beaten or will the Chasers reign supreme?
Must be a tv program, but never heard of it, will have to look for it, my old fave was " Sale of the century "
The Chase is just about the best quiz show on tele at the moment and it is on ITV at 5pm every week day.. That Sunderland lass was a real star tonight...Well done that lady..
Being retired I often watch the Chase, it is by far the best quiz show on the tele. Bradley Walsh is a brilliant host and shows he is not only a good comedian and actor but runs this show as if he has been doing it all his life, I also noticed he was on the coaching team for last weekends SoccerAid, a man of many talents.
He was a pro footballer Comedian and actor, Bradley Walsh was a professional footballer at Brentford in the late 1970s for 2 years but never made the first team squad, due to injuries which eventually ended his career. Before that he started playing on the Barnet youth and then for a team in the Hertfordshire County League, a Brentford talent scout spotted Bradley and signed him. His love of football continued, being a keen supporter of Arsenal and even comentating on the FA Cup Final in 2002 for Sky where Arsenal won against Chelsea. He plays for fellow ex-Brentford player Rod Stewart's team, the Vagabonds, in Surrey. please log in to view this image

Haha definitely, still she did the region proud, nice to have some positive exposure for a change with the North East's reputation being butchered of late by those Geordie Shore clowns up in NE1.
I prefer Pointless, a much harder quiz. The questions on the Chase are some of the easiest on tv. The Eggheads is also harder
