The reason I ask is I wanted to know if he played down the wings or centrally more often.

Alot of users seem to think he'l be best used behind the striker, I imagine how Ashley Young is being used atm but is no one else salvating over the idea of having a LM with a left foot?

As much as I love Jonas his delivery is as convincing as Stevie Taylors gun shot wounds suffered in various goal line incidents. I would love a winger who will go to the bi line, put in a peach of a ball for Best to score his 4th and likely last goal of the season.

Ben Arfa said he wants to play behind the striker before he moved to us he feels that's his best postion but in france he played mostly on the wing and I think he would be amazing CAM free role just let him create!

Ben Arfa was usually played out on the wings for Marseille but was utilised in the middle when he was at Lyon to start with. He began as a striker but then moved out to the wings later on.

He's fairly adept at both wings (left is strongest position) and playing through the middle as an attacking midfielder.

For Lyon he used to play central, but that created a bit friction with Benzema as only one of them used to play (HBA in a 4-5-1/Benzema in a more usual 4-4-2) and basically Benzema won the war. Then he went to Marseilles and was on the wing most games, but sometimes went central. Personally I think he'd do best if you just let him do his thing. Let him start on the wing, but cut it when he feels right. After all, he was brought up in Clairefontaine so he's gonna have some understanding of when to cut in and when to stay out wide.

^ This basically, although I'll like to try him out at the Nolan role(CAM) when possible but I'll still be happy to see him on the left.
