Interested to hear how Shea Assaidi Miniesca and Palacios performed and whether KWJ was trying for once because he wants to stay or leave What was the attendance and although it is early days is Jerome not going to be given a chance SiS
Shea did well, played 45mins, didnt't cause many problems though. probably still recovering through injury. Assaidi played 45mins, was quick, direct and not scared to try and beat a man. also made some clever runs in behind but never got a pass. Muniesa played really well. dont think he missed a pass all night, support shea and assaidi well on thr overlap. Also not scared to try and beat the first man to play out from the back. He will give pieters a run for his money. Palacios wasnt very good, misplaced passes and lost the ball a few times. was then taken off for wilson at half time. Kenwyne took his goals well (all with his feet!) but in the 2nd half he was a bit lazy. We made 2 subs at half time (palacios and shea) both injury recovers and then adam came off for n'zonzi to slow the game down at 3-1 so jerome was left on the bench because MH was clearly happuy with 3-1. The attendance was about 10K, most the boothen and then most the Q railing. Hope thats ok for you
Delap, I was there and that summary is on the money mate. I would Like to see Willson stay in our midfield now. And I know it's only 1 game, but Muniesa is classy.Assaidi too.
