Great performance by City today. However, I'm not sure that I appreciated how well Leeds played - I noticed this in the match report on the Leeds United site:-
"The visitors were on top in the period leading up to half-time and McCormack, who had been forced into coming deeper to look for the ball, went into the book for a challenge on Brady."
And there was me thinking that Leeds were never really in the game!

Think there's a bit of club bias in there. The start of the first half was quite close and scrappy but Leeds hardly got a look in after that. If anything we looked in the ascendancy before half time and could have made something of that free kick if that clown Michael Brown wasn't pratting around changing his shirt on the pitch! Sly tactics really as it gave them time to pull everyone back and stall things.

I haven't read one mention of the fact that we just did the double over Colin's pre-season title favourites, or that we're now 13!! points above them.
I guess like Man U we don't regard them as significant enough rivals to bother with anymore.

I do recall the one point when they were on top, I think it was in somewhere around the 30th minute when they had a corner & lost it, it broke for us & we went up the other end & had a chance, not on target.

No there was not a moment in fact where they were on top, even Jak dropping the ball at the start of the 2nd half didn't give them a chance & he was trying to give them some hope, you could see him saying to them," come on, score, do you want me to kick it in to give you a chance," maybe it was the language difference that made it difficult for them to understand,
