Did anyone else cringe when they saw Perch come on yesterday?

Really bad news about Taylor, Colo looks less serious, but the defence consistency we had is no longer an option. Thoughts on best back 4 options?

Yes I did cringe when I seen him coming on, but in fairness to the lad did ok.

Chelsea only got there 2nd & 3rd when were effectivly down to 10 men, so says something about our defence.

As for Colo, listening to Talksport this morning, the comentator at the match said it looked like a dead leg which he tried to run off. So fingers crossed that's all it is and he'll be back.

If colo does make it back for next week, I'd hope he'd throw Santon in along side him keeping Raylor at LB and Simmo RB, if Colo isn't back then it might be a Perch / Santon CB pairing :emoticon-0107-sweat
Any ideas when Willo is due back?

We have 3 tough games still ahead but much more winnable than the last 3, Norwich can't keep a clean sheet but still play a goo apssing game as do Swansea. Hopefully the emphasis will be on the midfield than the defence.

I'm sure Pardew will go with Perch against Norwich, hope Collo is ok so he can help the lad.

I think we all cringed because of his past endeavours, but in all fairness he had a solid enough game.

Williamson is very nearly back to full training. Might make the bench for the Swansea game

I knew when he came on we had no chance of getting anything out of the game.

Low and behold a couple of minutes later a cross comes in for the man he's marking who is 2 metres away and has all the time he needs to power a free header past Krul.

Having said that, although he didn't have much to do after that he did it all pretty well and I was pleasantly surprised.

    Still **** though.
