In essence we beat a Prem team with only 10 men for over an hour....this must give the squad a real boost....great keeping peformance, strong defensive display, 2 stella signings in midfield and a young striker who will find out how the manager deals with "silly" things and will come back better for it.
I suggest this is a great way to begin and if it happened later on we might not recover from it..after saturday our boys can be confident that they have the backbone and skill to more than survive.....

Yesterday proved we have guts and character to survive.

We also played some nice football and kept the ball well.

Yesterday was a brilliant performance that bodes well for the future season. It was only marred by Sagbo's sending off, something that I am sure he will be made aware that he has to wind his neck in and be more disciplined on the field of play. Problem we now have is I do not think we have a striker to cover whilst he is suspended, Graham is certainly not up to it so feel we will have to give Fryatt/ Prossy a go.

I was just thinking the exact same thing as the thread starter. Thank **** Sagbo got his petulance and stupidity out against a team that we ended up winning against - so no harm done really.

I just hope that he learns from this and becomes more of a force in the future...
It is a bit troubling that he disappeared for most of the 30 minutes that he was on the pitch..
A lot of nice crosses came flying into the box and no one was there to get on the end of them.
I think figgy was also guilty of being out of position also but Davies cleaned his mess up.

hmm it may be too early in the season to tell what Graham is like TBF
he was rather anonymous when he was on.
Brady should go up top with rosie in his place
