Nope.Lots of dangers in the race inc Immortal Verse especially if the rain comes.And Cityscape,Worthadd and Mutual Trust are certainly no mugs.

I don't think Dick Turpin has a chance tomorrow just my personal opinion though. I wouldn't back Goldikova at 10-11 either Mutual Trust for me could be a danger
why is freddie head running not only goldikovas regular pacemaker ,but galikovas too??????????? worthadd on top means it should be a furious pace from the start????????????
planteur as 10f gp1 form ,stanima test maybe???this is weird as galikova ironically as SLOW PACE to set the pace as i think means that golden lilac will win again ,galikova needs 1m4f easily now!!!

If Dick Turpin shows his best form, the same form he ran to LTO, then id imagine he would get pretty close to Goldikova, he's probably only a pound or 2 behind her, so he is definitely worth an EW punt at 11/1. Mutual Trust is unbeaten, and his form in beating Strong Suit and Zoffany looks solid. I think he will beat Goldikova tommorow, I just feel he has enough class to do so, afterall Goldikova is a very good and consistent fillie, but when she comes up against horse's of real quality she gets easily beat, and I feel Mutual Trust has the potential to be very good, so il be backing Mutual Trust tomorrow, maybe with an EW on Dick Turpin if he's a double figure price
Very nice performance by Immortal Verse(i should put my money where my mouth is).Goldy ran with considerable credit again,but despite OP dropping her back i dont think it made too much difference.The best horse won on the day.
The only reason I didn't go to Deauville today as because the ground was heavy and I didn't want to see Goldi beaten. She has never won over 8f on very soft let alone heavy. But she still ran and ran well considering. Even Frankel would have been struggling on that ground. Just as well he didn't go there.

Even though she got beat today, I still think Goldikova is the one to be on in the Breeders Cup, even if Immortal Verse takes her on again there. Goldikova seems to come alive at the BC meetings and the probable fast ground will be just what she needs.
Ron.....The going was good to soft, it wasn't very soft. Goldikova has won on all sorts of going from Very soft to firm, so I hardly see how Good to soft should be a major problem for her. Freddie Head even stated beforehand that she would not run if the ground was botomless, so clearly he felt the ground was fine for her. She was beaten because she wasn't good enough, and I don't understand why you need to exaggerate the ground conditions to try and excuse her defeat
CG.....I'd agree she is still the one to beat in the BC, the fact she has been there and do e it 3 times before is a major positive. It's not easy to for a horse to travel so far and still hold there form. The other positive is her experience on the tight American courses

Or simply exposed as not nearly good enough to compete at the highest level? Probably not eh.
Just because I made a few quid on DT last season, and at Sandown this season, it does not mean I'm going to look at all of his performances afterwards with blinkers on
judging by the times of the whole card,it appears to be right for once- genuine gdsf.suspected it was when golden lilac failed to pick up in the previous race as gdsf most the time in france is good going!
however goldikova as won on all goings officially,but we all know about bull****e french going reports are - and on some of those wins on what was officially soft or gdsf ,the times suggest it was much faster.
she won a race on soft at deauville once clocking 1m35.7,but on gdsf in this does 1m38.5!!!
against makfi the time suggested it was genuine soft going.
i think though the ground today was ok for her really,at 6 now you have to wonder if she as lost a little speed.the winner is highly rated by her trainer,obviously not the betting public considering she goes of at big odds.
