A very good holding midfielder, well he was a few years back don't know how he's been since he went to Russia. What u guys think ? A decent addition?
We are going to end up with a totally new team at this rate. Hope Harry knows what he is doing. We have been down this road before.
Harry has worked with him at Portsmouth hasn't he...? Is it same guy? In which case he knows what he is getting, and looking at his cv, he's played at some top clubs. And he's still under 30. Looks alright to me.
His wiki page is largely positive as a holding mid who can also attack and plays right back too. Also mentions that he has sickle cell problems (some sort of blood disease apparently) and that he fasts during Ramadan.
Another big name that Harry has heard of. Every year that dwindling contacts list of his gets a year older. Team ripped apart, scattergun signings, no visible sign of planning. Good to see we've learning
Dont want him....Even if he is a defending midfielder his scoring rate is a joke. Then again we need someone to Faurlins role.
Just thinking about this and it goes back to a thread judo made about 352 and how Ajax utilised the players. They used two holding midfielders who would each cover one of the full back slots as rather than wing backs they employed wingers in this role. Diarra would be ideal as having do and rb experience. Just need one for the left now.
