Nancy revelation of the season 2010/2011, Samba Diakite was probably disturbed by the numerous transfer rumors and has somewhat missed the first half of the season. We still retain his extraordinary goal against the AJA in the League Cup. Loaned to Queens Park Rangers during the winter transfer window, he played nine games in the Premier League and helped to keep his club in registering such a decisive goal against Arsenal. He was finally transferred to English club for four million euros.

That's great news Flyer if confirmed. When I started to read that I thought they were saying he is now a Nancy player (F*kk!), but the last sentance got me breathing again!

Why, were always weeks late in announcing everything!

I think were keeping it quiet and then will announce it nearer the renewal deadline.

""QPR set to wrap up Diakite deal
    By talkSPORT | Monday, June 4, 2012
QPR are on the verge of completing a £4million move for Samba Diakite.

The defensive midfielder, 23, joined QPR in January on loan and impressed while he was in west London.

Mark Hughes is keen to tie up a permanent deal for Diakite and talks with Nancy have been positive. A clause in Diakite's loan deal allowed QPR to make the move permanent and it appears they have.

QPR have yet to officially confirm the switch themselves but they are expected to do so shortly.""

Looks like they can read French too!

£4m is fair enough, €4m even better.

    £4m is a good price but what is E4m in £s, 3 to 3.5m?

He'll probably be worth another 10m in a few years. With AF and him we will have a good a midfield as anyone in division.
Add on Adel and Swp/jm and the midfield 4 looks strong.

    It's about £3.25 by today's rates.

I reckon TF might wait for another country to go bust to see if it can get cheaper.

Great news if this is true. We really missed him in the last couple of games of the season.

I can't see any other signing we make this summer being more important than Diakite. I hope I'm wrong, but this has made my day!

What about the virus? Does that come as part of the deal or does it stay in Nancy?
