I had no idea who this guy was so did some research:
French Centre back that plays for Valencia.
24 years old
Represented France at U19, U20 & U21 levels
Squad player for Lyon before moving to Valencia for 18/19 season
Mainstay of Valencia's defence the last 3 seasons
Champions League and Europa League experience
3 sub appearances this season totalling 10 minutes.
Scored 1 goal in last 2 seasons (against Barcelona)
7 yellow cards & 2 red cards in last 2 seasons
Missed 15 games in the last 2 season through injuries (calf, hamstring, undefined muscle)
We can't rule it out.. All this we've got nowt was shown to be bullshit when they coughed up 25 million for willock.
Is he any good?
Sounds like Lejeune before us
He's got to be better than lacelles but it won't be him he replaces anyway.
We desperately need to get another cm and at least a full back imo
He has to be better than what we have.
Valencia tend to play with 4 at the back so if he came in we may want to move away from the 5 we have been playing
Then we need new full backs
I think Manq should be right back and it's definitely time to give Lewis another try
Ritchie really has been found out
I agree with Manqy but Ritchie is not a full back or wing back
He's better than Lascelles*
*Never seen him play before
I know mate and he's been found out playing there now... He's actually done well for a while there, but I get the impression other managers have established that as an area of weakness now.
Tbh I think Lewis would be better in the 5 than in a 4.
Problem is we got Willock on instalments so with the money we got for Lejeune and the Armstrong deal we have essentially spent virtually nothing and that appears to be unlikely to change.
with wages saved we’ll actually be better off.
