lol what?! Diaby is a great player who is to injury prone to have a run of consecutive games at the first team, however he is one of our best players and if he was to sort out his injury plagued career I’m sure he would be fighting for a starting position in every game. He’s a fantastic dribbler of the ball, is strong and quick and can pick a pass, he offered a lot when he came on today.
yea he offered fulham a lot when he came on. one of the worst players to don the Arsenal shirt. Of the deadly triumvarate (i.e. deadly to Arsenal), Diaby, Denilson and Eboue, we've still got the worst of the three.
Yes , atleast Denilson scored a few from long-range efforts. How many goals did Diaby score last season. 0, nought, zilch!
That’s because he was injured for large parts of last season and Denilson played alot more. Diaby on form can win games, Denilson can't, the fact that Denilson has been sent on loan while Diaby wasn't tells you a lot about who Wenger prefers.
did u see diaby turning two fulham players and passing them in one move, then playing in walcott whose cross was blocked?
I really can't stand this guy , he is such a liability, it is beyond belief. This guy is able to ruin any midfield - and I mean any Arsenal midfield. Wenger likes to speak about football intelligence, what he sees in this guy is beyond me.
So how many games has this guy won in his career? He can cost us a game - this is proven so many times, including the ManU game when he scored a perfect header - against Arsenal. And do not tell me he is bad because he is always injured - he simply has no brain.
I cant understand all these people complaining about Diaby, he's just come back from injury and we were far more dangerous when he, Gervinho and Chamakh came one. We drew against Fulham who are a good team but at the same time our attacking threat was there and on another day we would have beat them. Most of the time Diaby has been great for us on those calling for him out seem to forget this.
Yeah blah blah, if we'd won today you'd be saying that Diaby was immense and helped the team to victory - playing the blame game is cowardice in my book. We drew a game, with a tired team, against a well organised Fulham side. Try and see it for what it is instead of trying to create a scapegoat.
This guy is a 'special' case. His sole purpose for having an account is to slate Abou Diaby. He did it back in BBC 606 and has waited until Diaby got over his injury to start this **** again on here. A real, sad act.
That's just it, Wenger sees an awful lot more of him than we do. I'd trust his judgement over any internet football expert, any day of the week.
Diaby is an enigma, easily one of the most talented CMs in the league on his day, his skills are amazing. However there is not enough end product to his game. He has all the tools to be the best midfielder in the league !! Denilson wasn't as bad as some make out, he made a lot of simple passes, teams need players like that, players that keep the ball moving, industrious players. Denilson had lots of good games for us, I think the problem was, our midfield was weak so too much physical pressure was on Denilson. Had we had a decent stopper (with some pace) playing with him Denilson would've flourished. I quite liked him as a player, he was like Fletcher for Man U but without the steel. Everytime I see a mention of the players being tired I will argue AGAINST that point, they can't be tired having played 3 games in 21 days !!!
