Well the decision to not buy a new midfielder because of a returning Diaby is obviously backfiring, it's not even October yet, and this is the second time Diaby's been injured, and I think this injury is worst than the one he sustained a few weeks ago. The moment of injury came when he had a shot on target today, I could immediately see he felt something.

Does anyone truly believe that Diaby can be relied upon for an entire season?

People can talk about Wilshere and Frimpong all they want, but both of them are just getting back from long lay offs, Rosicky is still 2 weeks away from training, so right now our main options in midfield are Arteta, Ramsey, Coqualan, and a returning Frimpong. God help us if Arteta picks up an injury.

I disagree and I will bring up Wilshere. He is very close to being back and his layoff has been longer than expected. If we'd bought a new midfielder we could have ended up benching both Wilshere and Diaby for the new guy. Also I think Coquelin's performances deserve more first team appearances. He is our replacement until Wilshere is back and fully fit. Wenger should have brought him on, but continues to rely on Ramsey instead.

I said a million times we don't currently have an adequate player to deputize for Diaby. Once he got injured, look at what happens.

So you're option is a player coming back from more than a year of injury, lol, you truly can't make this sh!t up.

As for Ramsey, even I rate him higher than Coquelin.

Sahin would've been that man, :-(, and look how good he's doing in a very very piss poor liverpool side.

On the positive side, at least he'll be a new signing again in 3 weeks!

Anyway, despite the gloom, if he's back in three weeks then it won't be too bad. Without him, I'd play Coquelin or Ramsey in there. I also think Podolski needs to play through the middle with Gervinho on the left.

And how long before he's out again when he returns? this is his SECOND injury already this season, common man, you and I know he's unreliable and will not be able to be relied upon.

I think it's time we offer him a pay as you play contract.

Well it was a typical Wenger risk but at least Wilshere is on the mend.
Sahin would have been great for us but on the plus side a Arteta/Wilshere/Cazorla trio is a pretty tasty midfield.

Frimpong may also come into the fold and offer another physical threat in the middle.

I see Diaby as merely a 'luxury player' because if we play him all the time he will not stay fit for more than a few weeks on a consistant basis. (not with our medical staff anyway) It would be nice to have Wilshere/Carzorla and Arteta with Diaby as an option from the bench.

However we will miss Diaby's power and height in the middle so I would suggest Wenger starts both Giroud and Mertesacker in the side while he's out.

And your option is to bring in a player who may never play or who will be dropped once Wilshere recovers. Can't make that sh!t up.

Ramsey will never play once Wilshere is back? Really? Even when Diaby was fit, Ramsey managed to get 2 starts in the team, Wenger has shown he has confidence in Ramsey.

Yeah, you truly can't make that sh!t up because you're talking absolute sh!t if you think Wilshere's return is the end of Ramsey.

I didn't even mention Ramsey. I'm saying we were right not to buy a player when we had Wilshere coming back and Diaby fit. It would have been enough of a dilemma if Diaby was fit when Wilshere returned, but adding another player into the mix would have been crazy. We just have to use Ramsey/Coquelin until Wilshere/Diaby is fully recovered.

Well then who the f--k are you talking about? Because I mentioned Ramsey, and you started referencing some player who has no chance once Wilshere is back, so who the f--k else are you talking about? If not Ramsey, then why even mention it as a response?

As for Diaby becoming full recovered, you mean like all the other times we've had him injured and just waited for him to get fully recovered? We waited a whole season for him to recover, and he's now injured, again, for the SECOND time already, this isn't his first injury of the season, it's October, and he's already been out twice now with injury, so you're truly deluding yourself if you think he will ever become a consistent starter for Arsenal, the empirical evidence suggests otherwise, what evidence do you have that he will become fully healed and stay healed? NONE, that's your wishful thinking, I rather look at the facts and stats.

And there would've been no dilemma, that's what having good squad depth means, and right now, Diaby IS INJURED, so therefore that new midfielder would have come in handy right now, in a realistic situation! Your situation doesn't even exist because there is no dilemma as Diaby is OUT, and so is Wilshere, so let's deal with the reality, rather than false fairy tales that don't exist.

Least he will only miss 2 games Olympiakos & West Spam as we have an international break coming up.
