It is a joke! When he got injured they said 3 weeks...today 1-2months later....3 weeks at least! http://www.london24.com/sport/arsenal/arsenal_boss_provides_injury_update_on_abou_diaby_1_1687021
He ain't coming back in 3 weeks either, it's been 6 weeks since his injury, and he's not even jogging yet, so how in the world is he going to be ready for games in just 3 weeks?
It is ridiculously frustrating, but think how this must feel for the player, and i know people will say "oh but the player still gets his wages", when you are out as much as diaby he must wonder if he will ever play for longer than 3 months without getting injured. I mean it's a testament to his ability that when he came back we did look really good and i dont think that its a coincidence that when he gets injured out form drops. I suppose the injury he got would be 3 weeks for a normal player but with diaby's history record it's hard to judge and i wouldn't be surprised if we don't see him until 2013. Also would be nice to know how long rosicky will be out because when fit the are two huge players for us.
Diaby should be considered a luxury player; if he's fit great, if he's not then no matter because we weren't relying on him anyway. To gamble our season on the hope that Diaby's injuries woes were behind him and that Jack would quickly return to the form he was in before his injury, and at the same time make a profit on transfers in the summer is criminally negligent IMO...
Our medical team are ****ing useless. It's unbelievable how often small issues dont get treated properly and we end up with serious problems.
To be fair, Diaby's initial injury - from which the subsequent ones stem - was a smashed and dislocated ankle.
True but there's a '****-ton' of athletes that have gone on from worse injuries to have problem free careers. also what's the best RVP's injury problem will be dealt with considerably better at Utd? i'll be suprised if he has the same problems he had at Arsenal.
I guess everybody is individual and responds differently. Time will tell about RVP, personally I was surprised that he lasted the whole season last time without getting injured. Maybe it means he's over his problems. I'm as frustrated as everybody else about our injured players, but I don't think our medical team are to blame.
