He played for 65 minutes in a 1-1 draw with West Brom. Our favourite left back Santos scored the goal.

Surprised to see that Chamberlain started in this game, I don't see the point in that? He's been getting a lot of games recently, so I don't see why he had to play, especially when we have such a big game on Sunday, seemed like an unnecessary risk.

Diaby played in an u-21 game against West Brom today and was 'imposing' and 'impressive' according to reports. The game ended 1-1. Unfortunately Frimpong was sent off for a second bookable offence, although the second yellow was for kicking the ball away, he needs to curb this side of his game if he's going to make it at Arsenal.

Good news on Diaby though, if we can keep him fit for the remainder of the season, then he could still have a big part to play in how this season pans out <ok>

Patience with Frimpong starting to wear a little thin. Needs to cut out the off field antics and focus on football IMO. <ok>

He got a second yellow for kicking the ball away. Needs to tame his petulance, but not the worst crime in the world.

A full rest of the season from Diaby would be a huge bonus, shouldn't rely on that though.

We can't rely on it. But if we treat use him sparingly and ease him back into the squad, then we could get the best from him. I'm hoping that like RVP, he will eventually beat his injury problems and realise the potential that he has. Like RVP, he is a top quality player and it would be tragic to see his career pass by without him ever reaching full fitness.

How many people would actually put Diaby in our first choice line up? The Diaby,Arteta and Cazorla midfield was working, so it's a tricky one because now we have Jack as well to consider.

We can try Cazorla on the wing and play all three.

Or Wenger could go crazy and rotate players depending on the opposition.

I think there are more than enough games in the season to ensure that everybody gets games. Personally I would start with Arteta, Wilshere, Cazorla and play Diaby as a sub and / or when one of Arteta or Wilshere is injured / fatigued / loss of form. I would start Diaby in FA cup games and in some CL games and use Arteta / Wilshere / Cazorla as a sub in his place.

I'd play Arteta, Diaby, Cazorla. Give jack a rest.

OXO probably played as I don't think he will start against City think the front 3 will be Pod Gir and Theo.

I think he means coming back from injury, he shouldn't be overworked. Like Ramsey was last year.

I would put a fully fit diaby in ahead of both carzola and jack, sorry but arsenal fan have far to high an opinion of some of our players, carzola has been poor lately, and would have been dropped by the like of fergie or mourinio. The problem with arsenal IMO is the fans and manager make some player out to be world class, when they perform poorly they still seem to be undropable. Yet I be there will be a few people slating this comment, but players need to know that if they don't perform someone else will take their place. At the moment I don't see anyone in the team who's place should be safe, as no one is performing well week in week out. If diaby replaces jack for a game and plays well he stays in the team until his performances drop, end of, that's the way a winning team should be run, no one is safe, and no one should accept being a back up.

Either he's fit to play or he's not. What he most needs is game time, surely. Obviously if he is feeling an injury he shouldn't play, but otherwise he'd the first name on your teamsheet.

History tells us though that we need to ease our players back, rather than throw them in at the deep end. We did it so many times with RVP and he got injured time and again. Ramsey basically held the MF together last season after coming back at the end of the season before, he played nearly every game, got fatigued, lost form and our fans slated him. Diaby is a player who we need to treat cautiously. I think he needs game time, but he needs to build up slowly. Same with Wilshere, he's been immense so far, but there will come a time where he tires because he's been out for so long. If we could rotate the two, that would be ideal.

I think there are more than enough games in the season for all of our players to get games. But to be honest Jack has been immense so far. It remains to be seen if he can keep up the energy levels all season as he's only just come back, but to be honest only a fool would drop him at the moment. He's probably our best player on the pitch.
