Has anyone seen this? http://soccernet.espn.go.com/news/s...admits-to-wearing-spurs-shirt-at-home?cc=5739 Apparently best friend is Younes Kaboul.
This is the article that I lifted from TeamTalk.net: Arsenal midfielder Abou Diaby has been quoted as saying that he owns and wears a Tottenham Hotspur shirt. France international Diaby has risked incurring the wrath of his own Gunners fans with the statement. The report suggests that Spurs defender Younes Kaboul gave friend Diaby the shirt of Arsenal's bitter North London rivals. Diaby said in The Sun: "It's more difficult to wear in the street. There you are not safe." The 25-year-old went on to intimate that he would consider making a switch to White Hart Lane in the future. He said: "It would be good to play for the same club one day." What the hell is going on over at The New Library?!! Fabregas, Nasri, Clichy, Denilson, Bendtner, Arshavin, Diaby... Has anyone ever seen a mutiny like this anywhere before? Not just football, anywhere?
when diaby opens the closet i bet lots of little children fall out then he finds out its wengers closet he just opened by mistake
He can wear a Spurs shirt as much as he likes, so long as it's in his own home and not as a member of a Spurs side! The only other mutiny I can think of like this one is France at last year's WC. Then again, half the squad seem to be at The Library right now, so no wonder!
its wonderful and superpav stop writing comments im trying to be the last comment on all the aeticles just so tht i cn see my own name running down the side of the screen in a perfect order!!!
Diaby has lots of shirts from other teams. From his time playing the Champions League, I'm sure the ones he has from Barca and Real Madrid are quite precious to him. This one he probably uses 'around the house' to do the DIY and washing up in, doesn't matter if it gets filthy and ripped.
Its a shame that the spuds don't understand that. They will only be able to collect shirts from Athletico Madrid and Sporting Lisbon next season
He's got plenty of Arsenal shirts for that. I wouldn't be boasting too much about Champions League qualification yet Pubey, as you aren't actually in it yet. Now that Eduardo's gone, you'll have to find somebody completely different to dive his way into the next round for you.
'It is more difficult to wear it in the street - there you are not safe,' Diaby told the Sun. Talking of his friendship with Kaboul, who scored the winning goal in Spurs dramatic 3-2 win at the Emirates last season, the Arsenal midfielder added: 'It would be good to play for the same club one day.' They did quote him, SNIOM. He's wearing it because his mate plays for us, but it's still a bit odd, isn't it?
Can you lot please stop this immature discussion deely. Dona_mara is TRYING to be the last poster on all threads on the spurs board... And I find it entertaining. You're ruining it with your childishness!
thank you solid..they lack an understanding that u clearly posses but i got to admit..redknapp gets on my teets!
If you've already qualified, then you wouldn't be playing qualification rounds. They're still a part of the competition as a whole, in the same way that non-league teams play in the pre-1st round FA Cup games, but you're not in the competition proper, as people like to refer to it.
