Paul di Resta has blasted the F1 stewards over the drive-thru he incurred for his collision with Nick Heidfeld:

I'm not sure what he thinks an investigation would achieve. Ten place grid promotion perhaps? I'm sorry Paul but it was all your fault, although a penalty was a little harsh:

He's had an excellent start to his career, but he's come unstuck in the last two races. Hopefully he'll get it back on track in Valencia, he's giving a very good account of himself against a very good teammate.

Is it 'cos I is Scotch?

Well, someone had to say it.

I think he means the stewards' approach (or possibly pre-race drinks habit) needs to be investigated.

These in-post advertising links are becoming quite tedious now.

Agreed, I saw one earlier for "Anthony Hamilton" off one of your posts, linking to amazon, why? I don't mind them too much, but it'd be nice if they weren't the same colour as the links we posted, so you could easily differentiate.

EDIT: And now it's done it to this post too!

i think the thinking behind it is 'you're supposed to be the best drvers on the planet, surely you can overtake without hitting someone'.

The FIA hates scots! Its a conspiricy.

Nah I thought he was in the wrong but the drive through was not needed as he had to change for a wing which was the penalty.

I'm sure someone can correct me if I'm wrong but aren't Paul and Lewis the same age? :)

di Resta is 24 I think, so two years younger. You might be thinking of Maldonado, who is 26 I think. Unless I've got them confused.

Edit: di Resta is 25, Pastor and Lewis are 26 (according to Wikipedia)

di Resta's incident was, in my view, what has become known as 'a racing incident'. He paid a natural penalty for his ambition - which relied upon Heidfeld choosing not to take the first apex - with having to replace his wing. There was, in my view, no need for further action.

I believe Heidfeld was aware of di Resta being at least level with his rear tyres; however, it was rather 'hopeful' to believe that he would delay his turn-in on this occasion.

    Racing incident.

Can one of the moderators explain to me how Miggins gets away with his disgusting insults?

Does being promoted to the caste of "Senior Member" allow such a privilege?

So not only does the guy have a serious issue with Lewis Hamilton but also an entire nation as well.

Di Resta has wasted good points two races on the trot now. Great pace in canada and he has a future, but rookie errors are inevitable with someone in their first season and that was one.

Get a feeling that RI has a massive grudge against Miggins, why don't you PM him so we don't have to read about it? I like di Resta, hopefully he can learn from his mistakes and move on, part of that is accepting that you're in the wrong, like Lewis did.

sorry nick, is he having a pop again? I wouldn't know, thankfully Julius gave me the link so I could ignore the twat, like so many others have, and i no longer see what he writes.

here, do yourself a favour, join the club, he only ever comes on to be antagonistic to everyone anyway.
