Now it is official and we know that Roberto has got the job in theory for two years. He deserves a chance after his ability to turn things round last season but will he get to see the end of his contract?
Chelsea were like chalk and cheese, with the change from AVB to Matteo. The thing was, AVB was there to bring change to the club. Unfortunately, he couldn't bring about change whilst still keeping the club at the top. I wonder what the remit for Roberto is..?
I am wondering whether Roman would say something like make the changes but keep us in the Champions League
