Whilst at work last night a Swindon fan ITK says that news from the county ground is that if Nigel loses the next two games, Di Canio is being lined up to replace him.
I then told him no way because Our chairmen has ambitions to succeed in the premier league and why would he go for someone with 1 years experience in league 2.
If the unthinkable ever happened would you welcome him?

I'd be surprised if he wasn't a Premier League manager some day, but I don't think that'll come for a couple of years. Would seem like a taking a punt appointment rather than a secure appointment, which I don't think Cortese would want if survival is that important to him.

    Also, he's a massive tool.

It's a load of bollocks. If Cortese did sack Adkins why on earth would he replace him with someone who has only managed in League 1 and below!

Cortese would not stand for Di Canio and his child like antics, no chance. If Adkins go we'll get a new manager based on suaveness as well as managerial ability.

Di canio and Cortese are mutual friends as far as I'm aware, the sun found out about their friendship and made a story about Nigel being replaced on Monday.

Oh yeah just like he's "friends" with Berlusconi. As in, they're both Italian, and they've probably met before.

I've met Redknapp and shaken hands with our Nigel; doesn't mean I'm friends with them... ;)

They may be both Italian but that doesn't mean that they'll see eye to eye! Albeit, Di Canio's done brilliant for Swindon even though a lot of his good work is done through intimidation.

If Adkins gets sacked any time soon Cortese is a ****ing idiot. Di Canio is one of the last people in the world I want to see at our club, complete prick
