Decent shot but not one I fancy myself.

Not the manager, I just don't fancy the likelihood.

If the Allam's can't cope with Nick's post match comments, they'd be completely ****ed with Di Canio.

Is there really much of a chance of us getting someone in who will cost us compo?

I don't think the allams sacked him because of comments as we are told, I think they offered him money to spend and he didn't take it and we failed to make playoffs so they got rid. Maybe I'm wrong but that's how I see it.

Despite my numerous talents, I can't put up links to conversations, but I'm sure Nick will do the honours in due course.

Barmby might well give his own version of events at a later date OLM but I have to agree that if you look at things objectively and are not privy to inside info it certainly looks that way. However, I also suspect that the owners are too "hands on" where in fact they don't understand the nature of football business. So whoever takes over as manager won't have things entirely their own way. It's a shame.

Did the Allams actually want Nick to fail? I can't believe that..

Cold hard facts though - Allams see €17m wage bill PLUS good, young talented squad left by NP. They offer Nick a transfer kitty to stengthen (here's the unclear part) and he doesn't achieve Top 6.

The unclear part - yes money to spend but ONLY to spend as the Allams see fit?

So to my mind Nick has been stabbed in the back. He doesn't quit as he's new to the job & he's obliged to cover up in interviews that "he's happy with the squad". So he's defended the owners but come end of season we're 8th.. he "should" go back to the Allams behind closed doors, sit down and say "look, I gave it my best shot, I maybe made mistakes but you need to back me up too in sanctioning decisions in future".

But he went to the media. The owners despite working & building up their business in Hull for 40 years will still have a "middle-east" mentality.. (this is in no way racist by the way, I've experienced it in Turkey).. you don't cross them or appear to undermine their authority. You can't make them lose face.

They were offended, so he's history. Despite the fact they may have misled NB, you can't go telling the media that we should "do this and buy that" without having it agreed first in private.

    Both sides have made errors.

Yours is an opinion, mine is based on information and based on that information, I'm saying you're wrong.

I've been posting since February that Nick had players he wanted to bring in, but the deals weren't sanctioned, hence the arm twisting via the media that pissed off the Allam's so much they sacked him. I'm not saying they didn't put up any money in January, I'm saying they wouldn't put up the money for the players Nick wanted to bring in.

Believe it, or ignore it, it's entirely up to you. <ok>

Thats the bit that is really stupid in my opinion NB didnt decide on the wages of any of the players and how much of that was on players Barmby didnt even want eg Oli/Ghilas/Mcshane/Harper/Adebola etc - so no reason for the sack
