    Would you rather see Pompey have a great cup run and, say reach the FA Cup semis at Wembley - but have a poor league campaign finishing, say 19th in the Championship

    or

    Get knocked out in the 3rd Round but be in the race for the playoffs, ultimately finishing 7th or 8th in the league?

    I think we should realise that at the moment we are a championship club and with at least 10 new players needed this season I would rather us stay up and have some fun in the cup

    Unless there is dramatic transfer activity in the next few weeks, I think the cup run is the more likely scenario.

    I'd like both !!

    BUT, being realistic, mid table in the league, and a good run in both cups would be nice <ok>

    I don't mind - although I'll be gutted if we don't finish above both Southampton and Bristol City.
