Devo I think this could be an interesting appointment for West Ham. The chairman has talked about getting a British appointment and the tabloids seem to favour Martin O' Neill which seems very far-fetched. There are some quality managers in the Championship and League One and I wouldn't be surprised if the appointment came from this direction. I woundn't be surprised if Gus Poyet attracted a lot of attention even if he doesn't fit the "British" billing but one name not touted and who I think could be in the frame as he has a track record of promotion is Steve Cotterill. Given the failure to date of the take-over and the continuing problem of cobbling together sufficient players for a squad, I wonder if any Pompey fans think that this might be likely. Cheers Ian
