Do you think West Ham should have stuck with Uncle Avraam or were they right to sack him after relegation?
They should have sacked him months ago. West Ham should not be in the position that they are with the squad of players that they have got. Last year he had the excuse of huge money problems and a transfer ban preventing him from bringing in his own players, what's his excuse this year? I'm struggling to find one for him....
Hi Dev. Poor Uncle. Sometimes it just doesn't work. Let's not forget he took Chelsea to the Champions league final and only lost in the lottery of penalties. And we all know what happened next. Also, the way he was given the push I just find unbelievable. Begging the Wigan chairman for a room to do their dirty work? Shocking.
I do personally feel sorry for Grant. He is a thoroughly nice bloke, but I think he took on a "poisoned chalice" at the Hammers. The two Davids must be very difficult, demanding owners to work for.
Most West Ham supporters I spoke to at the start of the season were convinced they'd be relegated. They can all now not look forward to Millwall.
Did anyone see the plane flying past the stadium, towing a banner, bearing the legend "Avram Grant. Millwall Legend!"?
