Stockport County and Lincoln City. Will either of them manage to return to the Football league at the first attempt?
Probably not. More interested in how Crawley will go this season. Check out their stats for last year. Very impressive. Could be another Wimbledon on the rise.
Hi Dev. Me too Funky, my Nan lived in Horsham and Crawley was a place we used to visit, for a treat, it was a lovely newtown back then. Horsham, Littlehaven, Faygate, Ifield and Crawley. Those stations are burned onto my memory. To answer your original question Dev, I think Lincoln might come back, but Stockport just seem to be cursed, these days.
It is so difficult to come straight back up once you are relegated (most of the time). But perhaps, is the question how will Wimbledon fair this coming season?
Think both Lincoln & Stockport will find it difficult to "bounce straight back". I reckon Luton will do well this season. Agree with above comments that both Crawley & AFC Wimbledon will have an interesting season in Division 2.
Wasn't there a station called three chimneys or was it three briges or some such in that area. I seemed to remember getting off at it at some time. Used to watch a team at Crawley back in the early Seventies I think it was the Crawley town. Strangely they looked a useful outfit then. It will be good to see if they can stay the course!!
Three Bridges station Beddytare and I am now living across the road from Three Bridges football clubs ground but still slumming it in Croydon for work. Don't think you will like Crawley now PM its more like chav town and definitely not a treat, but at least shops are open 24/7 and buses run through the night.
The girl i'm currently attempting to court is a Stockport fan, therefore I'd like to see them get promoted.
Erm, I dunno what other verb to use to describe my attempts to convince her to go out with me. What would you use?
Woo hoo is a euphemism for sex in the Sims..... Although if you ignore the Sim's reference, I guess that's a term that could work.
I had a pet owl, but he was rubbish at courting and frankly not the brightest of birds. Turns out, he didn't have "the wit to woo"
