(Not necessarily watching Pompey) what, in your opinion, are the best and worst English League Grounds [not including Wembley] that you have been to?

    Morning Dev.
Best, has to be Old Trafford.
    Worst, The (old) Den.

Many moons ago I went to see Pompey play Crewe in a garbage 1-1 draw (I think) on a Tuesday evening that was definately the worst ground, 7.30 kick off and the first train back at midnight to Euston getting home after 7.00 in the morning.
Best ground for me was Anfield but that might be because of the atmosphere with 14,000 plus Pompey fans.

Old Trafford the best ground - only been there once, the year we won the cup !

Saints old ground at The Dingly Dell was the worst - went there a few times, and always stuck behind a metal stanchion, so never saw much of the game !
