Would you see the sporting decision by India's captain at tea yesterday repeated in any other sport?

Hi Dev, that's a good question. Stoolball is played, where I come from and is a nice game. Mixed teams, underarm bowling on hot summer evenings, it's good fun.

I am a strong opponent of this review system, bar using it for run outs, I suppose. What took place yesterday had to be confirmed, yet again with a tv replay, was it a boundary or not? Players are arguing with umpires more often, the game is being slowed down, the reviews are far from perfect anyway and I just think we were better off before all this started. Probably a good reason as to why county cricket is still number one for me.

I can't think of the footballing equivalent. Cricket is probably the only sport where the umpires basically do what the players tell them. From what I have seen TV reviews don't really work...fortunately we will never see them in football.

I don't think you will ever get "sporting decisions" like that in other sports, especially Football. Too much at stake financially for football players or managers to be that honest and open regarding 'iffy' decisions on the field of play.

Look at the number of times in the recent past where a goalkeeper has been beaten, and the ball has bounced across the line and then been clawed back by the keeper who keeps "schtum" about the truth.
