3-1 is a good shout...........I am just hoping Kitson does not come back to haunt us :-( will be a great atmosphere! PUP
Just printed my ticket! I had to print it several times as the printer wasn't working. That wouldn't class as unauthorised duplication would it?
Got my flag ready, woo. Is that a flag in your pocket or are you just pleased to see me? Oh, it is a flag.
Good morning Thought i had better drop in to your message board with the new season starting as I have a number of friends here and haven't posted all summer. Reading the supplement in WSC which is included with the magazine at the start of each season, everyone seems to have Portsmouth winning this league by a country mile. Looking at the opposition you are likely to face, it seems really hard to disagree with this and you will only have yourselves to blame if you can't wrap this up by April. It seems wierd seeing Portsmouth play in the fourth tier even if I can still remember the last time you were in this league - I think was was making an Airfix kit when I heard you got promoted from the old 4th division last time! It is a bit of a comedy moment seeing Portmouth pitch up against some of the opposition you are likely to face but the belief that has been restored to the club by the new ownership can only bode well and, hopefully, might prove to be a potent model for English football in the future. I think your fortunes are likely to be followed by many football fans outside the region. Although I am a Saints fan, I think most of us would wish you luck in 2013/14. It is amusing seeing you play in a league as low as this but it is not where your team belong. Whilst Southampton had their problems a few years back, we managed to bounce back and I honestly think you will be in the Championship within three seasons. I'm not sure you will still be a community club but I think you should enjoy the next few seasons watching a club that is democratically run by the people of the city . For me, this typifies what Portsmouth are about and the 12 thousand season tickets that have been sold tell a story of what the club means to the inhabitants. By anyone's standards, that is an amazing figure. Good luck for the coming season and enjoy your football. It will be a great season to be a fan of all three clubs in the Hant / Dorset South coast. Off to watch Winchester play this afternoon - a club whose fortunes over the summer have mirrored Portsmouth as the Citizens have similarly become a community club. Cheers Ian
Good luck today (no, honestly I mean it!...)....You must be so excited about this coming season, I'll definately be following your progress closely.
