Time to start of the usual prophesies of attendance and score line The capacity at the Pirelli Stadium is 6,912. I reckon around 4,500. As for the score. mmm either Pompey will be 2-1 up after 85 minutes so it will finish 2-2 or it will be 0-0 after 87 minutes, in which case we'll lose 2-0. My cup aint arf half empty today
Tut, Tut, channon - keep up with the rules please, if you want to join in. Good game, good game, as Brucie would say..........
Pompey 1-0 up, through Rickie Holmes, after Burton's keeper saved brilliantly from Big Pat. Come on you Blues.......
Pompey 1-0 up at half time. Can we hold on to the lead, for our first win on the road this season, after three successive 2-2 draws ? We lost Joe Devera after about 7 minutes with a leg injury, bringing on Bondz N'Gala in his place. Almost lost Danny East to a cut face after about 15 minutes, but our medical staff stitched him up, and sent him back on. We have apparently (according to Express FM) played very well in the first half, creating plenty of chances. PUP
Attendance 3577 - by Friday 13th we had sold 1313 tickets - not sure how many away fans are there today though.
Pretty good turn out again by our fans, 3rd eye. A great moment in the first half; on Express FM; when during a lull in the commentary, an unhappy Burton fan bawled out "Your rubbish Edwards !" aimed at their full back Phil Edwards. His timing was immaculate !!
