just watched the Fleetwood game so I could get a look at Lewie Coyle who is awesome, having a great season with the cod army, as he has won more man of the match awards than anyone plus he won 6 MOM on the bounce. Yes hes great lets get him back for next season he deserves it. I then find out Leeds have put in a bid for Devante Cole (22) great pedigree as hes Andy Coles lad who got him into the Man City academy. The kid played for England U15,16,17,18,19 scoring goals, loaned out but without being prolific, even at Bradford City. Fleetwood 75 appearances with only 17 goals. We need established strikers dont we, not another one for the future as we already have Grot, Wilkes, Clarke. If a 22 year old striker hasnt made it I dont think he ever will. Harsh I know but I dont think we have time to gamble
Doc, Fleetwood have one of the worst defensive records in their division. Not saying that's down to Coyle but it is a fact.
Coyle is personally have a great season, whats not to like about that LOL. If the kid wins player of the year as he has done already, and has been regognised for getting 6MOMs on the bounce what the fook has that got to do with their record. He personally stands out from the rest yes?
The young kid Marriott scored another 2 today to knock Villa out of the cup. Were we not supposedly interested in him? His manager was praising him after the game saying he is too good for League 1 football. It sounded like a 'we will sell to the highest bidder' kind of statement to me.
Jack clarke the new dogs bollox striker kid we brought in a few weeks ago from York. Apperently Tommy and Orta and everyone whos seen him want his babies. When Lassoga was injured at the start Tommy almost played Clarke before Roofe, that tells you something. Hes younger than the other kids as hes only 17,Wilkes came back but he played for the U23s along with the other strikers

Got it now Doc. You are right Clarke looks very close to first team action at only 17 (papers say Man City tried to sign him when he signed his first pro contract with us). Loads of HITC type articles flying around about him. However, he has come through the ranks, Ryan Edmondson is the kid we signed from York in November. Another striker and three year deal at 16 - no idea how highly rated he is.
