    You know the script, guests are invited to imagine themselves cast away on a desert island, and choose eight recordings, to take with them; Guests are also automatically given the Complete Works of Shakespeare and either the Bible or another appropriate religious or philosophical work. They are then prompted to select a third book to accompany them.

    Rage Against the Machine - Rage Against the Machine
    The lamb Lies down on Broadway - Genesis
    Synchronicity - The Police
    Purple - Stone Temple Pilots

    School's Out - Alice Cooper
    The White Album - The Beatles
    American Idiot - Green Day

    Book(s):

    The Forever War - Joe Haldeman
    (for laughs) - The Bible

    Seems a bit pointless unless you take a record player as your luxury item imho.

    Been listening to quite a bit of the Black Crowds (sic) recently. Playing some of their tunes with the band too, especially Hard to Handle, never really struck me before how much they sound like The Faces at times. I was never really into The Faces but I may be tempted to check out some of the back catalogue.

    Southern harmony is a great album it's a hippy Never Mind The Bollocks, the first one - with hard to handle is pretty derivative I think.

    I know it's not regarded as one of their best but I love Lions. The whole album sort of ties together nicely.
