Not sure if it has been mentioned already but Derby are putting 17k tickets on general sale!! If they can't sell them then I imagine the club would have to foot the bill as they asked for the allocation and we will sell out for certain and could have easily sold another 10k. I wonder if they have planned for this and will give tickets back from the end blocks for us? Doubt they fancy paying £300k for unsold tickets!!
there's no way derby wont sell their allocation. they've got a bigger fanbase than us hands down. if we sell 37000 it'll be a wonderful thing but i dont think it's a nailed on cert.
There is no way we won't sell out, I know loads of people(myself included) who aren't likely to be able to get tickets, ours won't go on general sale, they will be gone by end of Sunday. Derby have a bigger fan base but due to the journey and costs/time attached to that they won't get all the family and mates tagging along to the game that we have, it'll be more their loyal fanbase. If they have only sold 20k tickets when they have 17k season tickets before general sale then I can't see theirs selling out!
I've spoken to loads of people I know with memberships and season tickets, some are taking non football fans who are family, some are taking fans from other teams who are family etc! People are making it a family day out, downside being A. Lots of real Qpr fans will miss out and B. The atmosphere will be effected by the amount of non Qpr fans in our end not getting involved as much.
Could be why, maybe they will sell out then, still a lot of tickets to shift though, I think their coaches have sold out already and most of the trains will be full by now, any of theirs buying in general sale will have to drive down most likely!
