Has anybody any idea when the time/date will be released as I need to book train/hotel and I can't see Nothrumbria's worst letting it go ahead at 3pm on a saturday.

Nothing official but for safety reasons Northumbria police will move the match to an earlier k.o., I'm not a fan of this but its common sense and stops those few with no common sense getting tanked up for 4 hours in the pub and causing bother haven't seen skys fixtures but if they want to show it my guess would be Sunday 12:00 k.o

That's what I'm thinking parker, so do I a book train down sat morn and hotel over night (going out after the game) or book late train down sat afternoon and 2 nights hotel? Need to know so I can get the chepest price on hotel and train (staying at the Premier Inn).

Don't think Sky have announced their plans yet. If it is televised it could even be the Monday, I guess - unlikely though. It's a gamble whatever you do, mate.

Not certain but i thought 2 games had already been announced for the Sunday. Which may suggest Saturday at 12.

Should be 3pm on Saturday to allow for better atmosphere.

If you watch SAFC TV there is a piece with Steve Walton on the fixtures release day and he is asked this very question. He reckoned then that the game would be early Sat (12 noon) and not the Sunday but definitely NOT 3pm Saturday or 4pm Sunday.

I'd put good money on it being televised at 12 noon on the Saturday. This will allow us the rest of the day to celebrate the victory.<party>

Breakfast at 09:00 in the Worm, followed by a few jars of amber nectar, then over the town after the match for some serious celebrating.

Bugger if it's Saturday at 12 Then means a very early train from Glasgow to avoid the Scum at Central station are well more time to drink on the train.
