Fixture v Cardiff Sunday 3rd November -Kick off 16.00 .Surely <do not call me Shirley> the Police will object to this time. We always start earlier to avoid the fans getting tanked up. Will Sky move it earlier-dont think so!
This has already been run past the police I believe, I don't think it will be changed as a fixture is probably already in for the early kick off. I can't see it making a difference to be honest as it will be a bubble trip, our first since our last meeting.
For all the banter (some close to the mark and I hold hand up, guilty as charged), I truly believe both sets of fans have more respect for their clubs and are far more interested in the Historic nature of the event, than to allow a tiny minded minority of morons to ruin the occasions for the vast majority of decent supporters of both sides. Two Welsh cities battling for bragging rites in the premiership, PRICELESS. I say, if both sets of knuckle draggers want to kick themselves to extinction then let them, but away from our clubs and away from all true supporters and families who individually have more love and respect for their clubs than the entire mob of morons combined. I say, give them with a municipal car park somewhere and let them get on with it, with No Police interference OR Ambulance support to scrape up the offal. A couple of these and there will be no tossers left to drag our supporters into the gutter and damage the hard earned respect of Swansea and Cardiff football clubs.
The unfortunate thing it is those exact same morons who will be remembered if things kick off. Both supporters trusts are doing things (together) to try and get this to be just a game. I would be happy if we could just get on, my boss who is a huge Cardiff fan and I would just like to come to our respective grounds and just mingle and enjoy a bit of banter and a few pints. Is that to much to ask for ??
Unfortunately I would say yes as things stand as they are. Imagine what would happen even if you just put our and their posters in the same room together. The mind boggles
Good post stump and I am sincerely hope both derby games will be remembered for a great game of football especially if we win
