got my tickets eventually. Cant believe it took so long. Also seems vastly unfair that STH can get an additional ticket regardless of who it is for. we used to do it as priority based on match attendance which is surely the fairest option.
Serious question guys but are you feeling confident? To be perfectly honest, having supported City for 40 odd years you buggers always seem to have the last bleedin' laugh. On paper we should just brush you aside on the way to Wembley but believe me, my arse is nippin' big time !
We need to be on it over both games, you guys need to be a little off colour, then we may have a chance of upsetting the odds!
Got to disagree with you on that one TB, to have to pay £32.00 for what is effectively an additional game to the league season is taking the piss...what makes it worse is the Budgies have got their ticket pricing about right, whereas ME is trying to fleece us yet again...it would not be so bad but the service in the bars etc on match days is ****e, I think it would be a very good idea for ME to come down to the SBRS some match days to see what poor match day service he is providing, he then might think twice when he is setting ticket prices in general!
Got our tickets today and youre bang on Hoppers, what more can we the fans do to support our team? I think the least we deserve is a fairer ticket pricing system and decent service in the ground, we get neither.
Not for me, I'm not paying £64 (for two tickets) + £30 petrol to see what is essentially the first half of a two legged match, sorry, but enough is enough, the Budgies have got their £25 tickets about right... ****ing rip off. (I'm still half tempted to drive over on Saturday just for the piss up in the Drum & Monkey)
Hoping to make it down. Will be part of the general sale 'rush' to get a ticket. Don't agree with the pricing but i'm not going to miss out on this by choice.
sorry Hoppers but I cant see what your disagreeing with from your reply. I don't like the price (mine is 37 quid ffs) and I don't like the clubs approach. I think that Norwich have got it about right. Not wanting to argue with you bud just honestly have no idea where the disagreement is.
Sorry TB, did not word it very well, what I am trying to say is that ME doesn't really look after the supporters who turn up week in week out, I suppose letting ST holders buy as many as they like is still a benefit to the club more than the supporter due to the fact that the sale of tickets are getting done as early in the week as possible!
No problems. I think its harsh as it means that fans who can only make 1 in 3 or 4 matches are less likely to get a ticket as a STH can simply purchase a ticket for anybody even if they have never shown any interest in the club before. Under the past regime after STHs there was a release for fans who could prove their attendance of 5 or more games in a season before they went on general release. Personally I feel that is the better way to go but I can at least see your logic. Thanks for taking the time to respond.
Everyone who wants a ticket will be able to get one for Saturday, must say that I can't see us doing them over two legs, maybe in a one off, but the Gods of Football haven't seen fit to give us that... But if it all goes tits up I'm looking forward to doing MK Dons next season, never been to the Stadium MK before but I've heard some good reports from some lads who have visited it, and it's only a 20 minute train journey for me.
