Still have to get 3 points in 14 games, that’s like title winning form for us

Think we'll be fine now. Been saying for a few weeks that yesterday was massive for this and now we've got the win I think we'll get another 3-5 points.

I see that not only have we gone ahead of Derby's points total after 24 games (8), but we've pulled level with Sunderland (from 2005-06). Party time!

(But still four points behind where both Sheff Utd and Burnley were last season.)

I'm sorry to hear that you're losing your sight

Marbles more like it Lemons. It's a funny thing football, I had convinced myself that after accepting relegation, winning or losing from now until the end of the season would mean little either way. But yesterday's result has made me happier than it probably should. A lost cause but a win is a win as they say

Now this seems like less of a mountain I'd thought I'd look at our remaining fixtures each month and see if we can see which is most likely where we pick up more points. I'll also stick usernames under each month of who voted for it in the poll.

(Yes I'm extremely bored)

February
@BassettSaint @NNSaint

Bournemouth (H)
Brighton (H)
Chelsea (A)

March
@saintrichie123 @Paddy Podped @Libby

Liverpool (A)
Wolves (H)

April
@MIsaints @SaintsCookie @saint horatio @TheWatcher

Palace (H)
Spurs (A)
Villa (H)
West Ham (A)
Fulham (H)

May
@RSS @Le Tissier's Laces @Gregm1988

Leicester (A)
City (H)
Everton (A)
Arsenal (H)

Other votes were 12 for not reaching 12 and @doritoharv being admirably optimistic in picking January. Anyone fancy their original prediction coming to pass?

I went March but actually think it might be April now as only see two games between now and the end of March which have potential for points (Brighton and Wolves). Also April will likely be when midtable teams start to hit beach mode and 4 of our 5 opponents that month will likely fall into that category.

Tbh I probably wouldn't have picked March if I knew there we only had two games, seems a bit unusual when May has 5. Does anyone know why that is? Assuming late March is internationals but not sure about the first weekend, FA Cup?

Honestly at the time I voted I thought I was being too optimistic, but with RM gone it may now be pessimistic.
