Fleming for the third game running (even though he had a tough job with Ebosele) KLP I’m struggling for a third.
Sorry, I can't pick 3. As Shota said, we lost far too many 50:50's even 60:40's all over the pitch. KLP promised on occasions but didn't really produce. Fleming probably would be in a top 3 (despite being left for dead by their winger for that goal). Eaves showed (again) that he should have started (and I'm not really an Eaves 'fan'). Derby were good, we weren't.
a) He wasn't, he was up against a very good player and won about a third of the one on ones against him. b) He as left up against two players many times, he's good but he's not that good. c) By a considerable distance, our best player last night.
Sorry just don't see it, positionally poor. Torn apart almost every attack and bottled plenty of challenges. I am a fan of Fleming just do not see any of those points to be correct.
Agreed, thought he was poor against Derby bar the goal. Was good against Swansea and in patches against Preston though. Just a poor game.
Even a Fleming who was having a tough time dealing with Ebosele was our best player. If Fleming was having a tough time, stick another man like Greaves or Docherty on Ebosele and double-up on him. Nobody did **** all to help him all game on the left-hand side. It was clear he was struggling a bit. At least he didn’t give up and tried to get us back in it.
Last night was one of 'those' nights. While Flemming did his best he was turned inside and out by their winger, didn't help that he had no cover to help. My top 3 from.last night ? Honeyman, doing the work of 3 in midfield Allahyar, showed glimpses of a physicality that will suit him well in this league Eaves, showed when he came on he shouldnt have been dropped. The defence were as shaky as I ha e seen them in a while, KLP too often tries to do it all himself, Forss and Walsh will definitely have better gane because they can't have much worse, altogether very disappointing. But tbh it needed changing much earlier, so Shota has to take some of the blame. Hopefully a lesson learned.
Fleming The rest weren’t good enough, no one seemed to be in the right position & there was more space for Derby than in Star Wars!
Speechless still! I would have played Huddlestone, brought him on 88mins! KLP tried. Docherty’s passing is shocking. He more or less gave Preston the win on Saturday. Fulham will be Super confident after that pathetic display. BillyBlysPaperboy
