Did anyone watch this game last night? The Bilbao keeper collided with Luis Felipe when the Deportivo player scored. Felipe's leg just crumbled, one of the most horrific football injuries I've ever seen. Doubt the guy will ever be the same again. The goalies entire weight came down on his leg.
Enough to give you the boak!
Dunno, there were 40 odd guests at one point last night. Maybe WolviBhoy is recruiting just now, he's on 606
I've been recruiting Scousers, whilst slagging an Arsenal fan at the same time: http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/606/F15884589?thread=7244278
looks worse than just a leg break, looks like his knee is in bits. doubt he'll play again, that was horrible. but hey at least they socred
Yeah his leg was like one of those cheese strings. I was watching it on the TV and they showed it flopping about as though it was made of rubber. Career over like you say.
Not as bad as I thought. Lucky ****, that goalie is some size. He was MotM against Real Madrid the previous weekend. Spain have loads of good goalies.
Aye they were saying he's come onto a really good game recently. I watch a lot of Spanish football but they don't show as many Deportivo games anymore because they're not finishing in the CL places. A couple of years back you got Deportivo games all the time. I prefer La Liga to the EPL personally. I think the football is better and the top games rarely disappoint as both teams actually try and play football. In the EPL one of the teams either tries to kick the other off the park or just sit back and wait for one chance to attack. It's basically the SPL with more money and less atmospehere IMO.
He is quality, IMO best left back in the world, 1 mistake last season and no one managed to take it round him once. Had his attacking flair coming back towards the end of the season as well. Will be our best player this year
