http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cqjgleEJhhM Here it is ladies & gentlemen, the new offering from the electro/rock/blues artists. Isn't the internet a wonderful thing? A whole album you can listen to for free! I've been a big fan since 1990's "Violator" and am pretty sycophantic to anything they care to release these days... Depeche Mode have been around for 33 years now and are still at the cutting edge... in places! Enjoy!
Have to say that is utter bobbins.. Think the only record they e done I liked was enjoy the silence.. Which having listened to a minute of this seems like good advice.
Wow! You listened to a whole minute and based your opinion on it? You don't write reviews for the Guardian do you? <countlessenjoythesilencejokes> Frankly, I just can't get enough of it...
Well I've skipped it on a bit further and it sounds like a series of random noises with a past it sweaty 80's singer talking utter rubbish. Other than that I couldn't stop myself from really enjoying it. Honest.
Do you wake up with a stiffy? If so, your problems could be deep-rooted and based upon painful childhood experiences.
I ****ing hate the Cure. That ****s voice is like fingernails down a blackboard to me. Plus, you're gay.
I really like them as well - Boys Don't cry, Jumping Someone Else's Train, 10.15 Saturday night and Pictures of You are fantatsic in my opinion.
Yep, I was into the Cure up to and including "Pornography". They went a a bit too pop for my liking after that but still did some good stuff occasionally.
Depeche Mode are ****in ****, always have been and always will be. The ****y lead singer should have stayed dead.
Loads of good raunchy and raw stuff in the late 70's early 80's: Tubes, Graham Parker, Television, B52's to name a few ...I agree with the folk above though, Depeche Mode were insipid ****
