75 minutes gone and how the hell are Denmark winning. They look very poor, especially at the back. (Shame Erikson is so poor, I have heard good things about him.)

Just when you don't mind if Van Persie scores... and too bad about that handball at the very end

quite interesting, Holland, with best goalscorers in PL (RVP) and Bundesliga (Huntelaar) only team this far with no goals in EURO2012

It doesn't help that all the Dutch players look as though they hate each other - Schneider and Robben in particular.

    No change there then.

Just a shame I loaded my Fantasy team with them !!

The Dutch looked clueless, there was so much hesitation and they didnt know what to do. I expect England to play exactly like that.

I thought Denmark were pretty good, solid at the back and move the ball nicely going forward, they may surprise more (again!). They were a bit lucky though today.

How many times do strongly fancied teams come a cropper against average teams that are well-organised and hard to break down? The fact Holland left their shooting boots behind didn't help but it makes you think England might just have a chance...

Great game by Kjaer and Agger with Kjaer nicking the MOTM award for me. I have Germany and Portugal to go through in that group on my predictions so this suited me perfectly.

I was going to ask the moderators why that particular name got bleeped out - too many bad memories? then the penny dropped <kunt>, funny, never saw it that way - yet somehow that earlier Thai discussion thread was uncensored!

Yeah i completely disagree with you here Pete. I thought Kjaer and Agger were absolutely superb today, and Poulsen at left back never stopped running. I was pleased for the Danes; they were very organised and fought for every single ball.

They worked hard, for sure. I thought they defended too deep and, especially first half, the centre halves left far too much space between them. I Holland had started with Huntelaar, I can't see how they would have lost. I was pleased they won too - interesting to see how it pans out for them.

Denmark deserved it imho. Netherlands deluded as almost always, defensively they were poor.

They can either try to get 2 0-0s or know 1 win from 2 should be good enough.

Id defend deep but counter with numbers if i were them.
