He looks like a tricky and versatile player. Emery is going to use him on the wing initially so I'd expect him to go into the team ahead of Iwobi, who to be fair has been playing well. Suarez can also play box to box too, so maybe he'll also be deployed in the Ramsey role too ?
He looks good, more of a creative player, technically very solid. Can play either wing and as a No.10. It's not a bad deal - if he doesnt meet the standrad he can just go back to Barca in the Summer. If however he does well a £22 million deal should'nt be a problem.
he is a ramsey replacement. I think he will have just about the same impact as Ramsey at this club, which is probably good enough for the time being. I suspect we will probably make his move permanent at the end of the season, regardless of his impact.
Well Emery actually said he brought him in because 'we dont have players to play on the wing'. I find this a little weird seeing as Ozil and Iwobi are also AMF's who can play out wide much like Suarez. I wouldnt call Suarez a natural winger.
I will say I am a little confused by Emery. He is still constantly changing the shape of the side. For the Chelsea match we set up with a 4-3-1-2 which I think is our best shape given the players we have. and we got agood result. But he seems obsessed with having 'wingers' in the side... and has changed back to a 4-3-3 amd 4-2-1-3 since. A classical 4-4-2 just isnt going to work in this day and age so therefore either Aubameyang or Lacazette needs to play on the wing. Personally dont like this With Everyone fit I would go... -------------------------------Leno------------------------------- Bellerin--------Sokratis-----------Hol/Kos------Kolasinac ------------Guendouzi---Torreira---Xhaka------------------ -----------------------Suarez/Ramsey------------------------- ------------------Lacazette------Aubayemang--------------
