The point of the thread was to let people know there is a tv show on. It was also an homage to a thread that was lost to malware issues. You could not possibly be expected to know this. I will not hold it against you. I am not forcing anybody to watch it. The fact that you chose this inane (but informative) thread to engage with ahead of the many thousands of inane threads on GC shows you have some level of feeling towards my inanity over and above anybody elses. I saw him do some stuff in a wee small pub. He was really good and a decent guy. Subjective of course but I had been of the same opinion beforehand. As is the Iranian Irish Geordie. A really lovely guy and very funny.
I shouldn't knock them, I wouldn't have the balls to do it or any material. I suppose I could steal the Iranian guys' set. Instead of "English people <do something> whereas Iranian people <do something else>" I could do "Normal people <do something> whereas Fenland people <do something else>". Let's see: married to their sister, six fingers, no teeth, driving trac'ors, saying "bootiful", etc. It's doable.
I am sure if you didn't get so angry all the time people wouldn't feel the need to point it out to you. There is a market there. I have been to loads of open mic's where the funny guy from School/the office/pub Whatever ... Gets encouraged to do a couple of minutes by his mates. They all think he is the funniest thing since Lenny Bruce. Everyone else thinks they are a dick.
