Well DEMI has guided us through 3 games now and 4 points with the same players, even the ones he wont never play, he has, and gotten back a balance. What is lacking is a bit more enthusiasm from the posters on here. We now seem to be playing positive football AT THE BACK, the goals against has ceased to be 2 or more a game and we await our first 3 goal win. look out for a rotational aspect to the strikers on the bench! He needs to keep them all on their toes!
4 points from 2 tough away games in the space of a few days. We must follow this up with at least 4 points from our next two home games against Burnley and Southampton. I have every confidence we will and Southampton have to slip up sooner or later.
I did say with the right manager that's worth his salt, the players would be used in the right way.......Something too often Millen was unable to do. Well done the boys tonight and to DM......... 2 Games unbeaten!!!!!
one for, I think keef will be sat back thinking and learning from the last couple of games, the same squad, my squad, but used differently...if only (and I rarely use it but "quoting" what Keef might be thinking) if only I had taken the the bull by the horns and played them 2!!! TROUBLE IS OFTEN we just find ourselves in a rut and need to jerk ourselves out of it , KEEF'S rut never came this year!!!
Just had a look on the StJ site, DRAWN and LOST their last 2 , both their last 2 home gates were just under 3000 and a new manager in Steve Lomas, they must have fairly low wages up there or very good fundraising.....
I'm sorry but I just have to say it, who the **** is "DEMI" Can you stop calling him that please because it automatically makes me think of Demi Moore and that's not a picture I want to imagine, at least not for our manager...!!!
I honestly don't think that Millen's main problem was tactical, I think it was motivational. Players didn't want to play for him, I dare say that most of our losses were lost on the training pitch. He was tactically naive, but Millen tried some of the tactics that McInnes has employed without success. He was just incredibly dull and never struck me as a confident chap. McInnes exudes confidence and competence. You can tell the players feel reassured with him at the helm.
Now it looks like we've got Nigel back in charge, maybe he'll go for somebody good like Adomah rather than that plonker Maynard
Your still sulking about getting rejected, your now a borderline stalker, sad really feel sorry for you telling us your going to walk the league. Cheer up, always next year
