I don't know if you've ever seen a map of what will happen to the US with global warming. New York, LA, Philadelphia, Washington DC, all the other coastal cities, plus the entire state of Florida will go underwater.
Winters in Pittsburgh will continue to get milder (it's been very noticeable already.)
There's got to be a downside.
