Numerous papers today have included articles on Pardew going for Ba instead of Gameiro as Lorient are asking for 10m +

I would be happy with Ba. There are so many conflicting stories going around, I think it best we do not indulge in these whims. Also I believe there is a rumour thread somewhere on this board.

I thought we'd bid 10m for Gameiro anyway?
It's hard to believe any sources to be honest.

BA on a free,would be a fantastic deal and he's proved he can do it in the prem, albeit over a short period of time!!!

Cheers, well we bid 9mil or something and obviously rate him so surely 10mil wouldnt be too much of a stretch, especially if we're saving so much on Ba. Incidentally it's taken the papers a long time to realise he has this clause in his contract...

 

I mean, the source says we don't want to go to 10m for Gameiro, but according to other sources we'd bid 10m already and had it accepted (apparently)
But Smudger just informed me it was 9m, so all is good

But yeah, by all means, would LOVE both. Buttttt since we're going for a lone striker next season according to Pards, both isn't likely really =/

 

Bloody sources. I still think its away papers can get away with printing crap.
