    Not sure if this has been posted yet, doesn't seem to have been. Demba seems like a genuinely decent guy (already knew Jonas was) - better having those nice characters rather than poster boys for volatility like Barton and Carroll.

    Pardew seems diplomatic as always - agree with what he says about the second half and like it how he responds tactfully to the 'ticking time bomb' question by praising Ba.

    Disagree about Pulis mind, I don't think he gave us enough credit. Stoke actually played quite well but we dealt with everything they could throw at us. It's not that they played poor, we were just equal to everything they done and superior going forward.

    I'd concede that's true to an extent - the bit about Stoke's 'ascendancy' for the match is a bit silly considering the scoreline but he gives credit to Newcastle. It's rare that you see a manager actually give credit to the rival team they've suffered defeat to.
