    How can leaving Liverpool for a Champions league club not be a step forward?

    Even now, after four years away from CL, Liverpool still see themselves on a par with arsenal

    Liverpool are the most amazing club ever...we must bow down to the 8th place masters.

    Even the Beatles never stepped foot back in that city once they made a name for themselves.

    In fairness to Liverpool, I think their board has shown the ambition that we have been asking of our board/manager. Luckily for us their signings in the last 3 years (apart from Suarez) haven't delivered. Respect Liverpool too for refusing to sell Suarez to a direct rival .. pity Arsenal didn't show the same resolve when we sold players to City & United.
